Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi

Tokyo Midtown offers natural ecofriendly ways to beat the heat.
Ashimizu (foot water)— Visitors to the garden can bathe their feet in the stream to cool off and enjoy seeing illuminated in the motif of fireflies (using power-saving LED lights). 5pm-9pm, through Aug. 31
Garden Theater Cafe— In the evening, the Lawn Plaza is transformed into an open-air cafe under the stars. 4pm-10pm, through Aug. 24.
Open-air theater— After sunset, the cafe becomes an open-air theater screening recent and classic movies. Movies start at sunset (around 7:30pm). Rental headsets and wooden chairs (limited to 60) available from 5pm (1,000yen charge, 500yen returnable deposit).
