Odaiba Beach Volleyball 2008

Location: Odaiba beach (Take Yurikamome at Shinbashi Station and get off at Odaiba-Keihin-Koen-Eki Station)

Date & Time: May 10,  9am-5pm

Participation fee: 1,000yen (accidental insurance is included), No pre-registration and prepayment required.

Host: Japan BeachVolley League

Sponsor: Tokyo Coca-Cola bottling Co., Ltd., RealBvoice, Sand Block

There will be league game followed by tournament, and the first-third winner will be awarded.

“Kids vs. Sumo wrestlers” in Kokugikan

Exciting & cute photo is attached. Fifteen ASIJ elementary school boys are invited to the “Kids vs. Sumo wrestlers” on the sumo ring in Kokugikan at the event of “Grand Sumo Saikyo Ketteisen 2008.” If you have or know some boys who are interested in participating, please contact Yoshie Takekoshi at ext. 779 by April 17. They will prepare the mawashi (sumo belt) for the boys and have a rehearsal before the event.

Grand Sumo Saikyo Ketteisen 2008

This is one of the most enjoyable sumo events. Enjoy many matches that regularly can’t be seen, as well as a traditional one-pot dish “Chanko” distributed by sumo wrestlers, shaking hands with famous sumo wrestlers, sumo wrestlers demonstrating fouls, kids vs. Sumo wrestlers, and so on.

Date & Time: Sunday, June 1st   10:30am-4:30pm

Location: Kokugikan(Ryogoku)

If you have a group of more than 10 people for the chair seats, let Yoshie know by May 10. You can get good seats at 20% off.
